Scott McNealy of Sun & The Economist

My favourite magazine is The Economist, which I've subscribed to since 1984. Doesn't come any better than that.

Here's an article about Sun in their latest issue, and I think it nails Sun's problems very well: Scott still doesn't QUITE acknowlege the coming of the small commodity servers...

and let's not forget Sun is the company who pushed the blight of modern enterprise development: J2EE...

I second your opinion regarding The Economist, instead of figuring out what is going on in the world by reading national media, I prefer to wait for the analysis a few days later in the Economist.

Well, McNealy's out and now it looks like Sun will move towards a software focus. This Schwartz fellow look like the kind of guy who'll either kill or cure.
